Chapter 200
At the Stark Group, after Sean left with Lyla in his embrace, Sebastian suddenly snorted loudly and gave Myra a long, scrutinizing stare. “Temptress!” he muttered.
Myra grimaced in return, lifting the flask in her hands as she said, “Thank you, Old Master Hart.”
“Why are you thanking me? I wasn’t the one who prepared it!” Sebastian turned away, adopting his usual haughty demeanor.
What a surprise—I certainly didn’t expect Myra to get caught up in a dispute with another woman, and then that Chase boy showed up as well. If I hadn’t appeared, she would have been bullied by both of them and wouldn’t have had the chance to speak up. Sebastian frowned, muttering, “You’re such a wimp. No wonder you’re no match for Tony.”
Myra felt quite awkward at the moment. I never imagined this would happen. I can’t believe Old Master Hart witnessed the dispute between me, Sean, and Lyla. I certainly didn’t expect him to stand up for me either!
Sebastian suddenly recalled that the Fisher girl was indeed pregnant. His gaze flickered toward Myra’s stomach as he asked, “Have you been staying at Tony’s place lately?”
Myra was taken aback by the sudden change in topic and felt her face flush. She nodded slightly. “Yes.”
At that moment, the crowd began to return to work after their lunch break. Sensing the awkwardness of the situation, Myra quickly asked, “Have you had lunch, Old Master Hart?”
Sebastian waved her off, realizing her intent. “I’ve eaten. I’m fine. Don’t fuss.”
However, curiosity got the better of him, and he asked, “How long have you two been together?” His eyes then narrowed. Why is there no baby yet?
Sebastian had spent the morning pestering Lisa to prepare the chicken soup. It wasn’t easy to get Lisa to agree, as not many people were fortunate enough to taste her cooking. Ever since Tony had mentioned it last night, Sebastian had been preoccupied with thoughts of his great-grandchild. Katie’s pregnant now, but they’ve decided the child will take her surname. That’s such a shame! But Tony has a woman now! If Myra’s pregnant, her child will be my first great-grandchild. This is fantastic news!
Sebastian had even gone so far as to discuss potential baby names with Lisa.
“I’ve been together with Tony ever since… I finalized the divorce with Mr. Chase,” Myra responded.
Sebastian furrowed his brows in disbelief. “What? It’s been less than a month!” He shook his head. That’s far too short. Looks like no great-grandchild will be arriving anytime soon.
Myra was significantly startled by his words, unsure of what was going through his mind.
She looks so lost! I can’t take this anymore! Her intelligence level is quite worrisome. What if my great-grandchild inherits her traits? Sebastian stomped his foot in frustration, muttering, “Eat more walnuts.”
“What?”
“What do you mean by ‘what’? Just do as I say!” Sebastian replied with a firm tone. He straightened his clothes, then glanced at Myra again. “Go home early once you finish work, alright? You should spend more time with Tony. It’s popular among youngsters to foster a relationship. The more time you two spend together, the faster I’ll get a great-grandchild!”
After a brief pause, he added, “After you finish the soup, let me know what you think of it. If it’s to your liking, I’ll make sure someone delivers it every day.” It’s important to nurture her body so she can get pregnant soon.
Myra quickly shook her head. “There’s no need for that. You’re too kind. I can—”
“No need to feel shy. Come over to the Hart Residence anytime. I’ll make sure you get to eat whatever you like.” Sebastian had completely overlooked the fact that he had previously been pestering Myra to cook for him.
